1. Service

BudgetMaid provides personal budgeting tools, including CSV import for Canadian banks. It is not a bank, financial advisor, or payment processor. Figures shown are based on data you supply.

2. Your responsibilities

• Keep your password confidential and use a unique, strong password.
• Only upload CSVs you are authorized to use.
• Verify imported amounts before relying on them for decisions.
• Export and back up data you need before deleting your account.

3. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to access other users’ data, probe or disrupt the service, or use BudgetMaid for unlawful purposes.

4. Availability & warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular financial purpose. We are not liable for losses arising from budgeting decisions or import mistakes.

5. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
